VICE PRESIDENT OF FUNDING/FULFILLMENT

The VP of Fulfillment (“VP”) is the primary responsible person and primary point of contact during the transaction fulfillment process from the point of transaction award through funding for balance sheet and syndicated transactions. The VP will work with Sales, Fulfillment and Management to perfect transactions, mitigate risk/meeting internal control requirements, and maximize return while ensuring excellent service, professionalism and execution to our customers and partners.

High Level Responsibilities

  • Optimize conversion, execution, and return by ensuring transactions milestones are appropriately met and working with our clients and partners to perfect a transaction for the benefit of the client, our partners, and Nexseer
  • Mitigate risk by ensuring strong underwriting standards and internal controls are followed at all times
  • Be an ambassador for the company with clients and partners

Functional Responsibilities

  • Work with Credit and Capital Markets to maximize the likelihood of transaction credit approval
  • Directly negotiate with external funding sources to perfect approvals to meet client’s needs and Nexseer’s return requirements
  • Work with client’s and funding sources to perfect mutually agreeable documentation
  • Work with the Documentation team to complete documentation, underwriting, and clear funding conditions
  • Maintain transaction forecasting and analysis working with the Sales team to maximize return as appropriate
  • Ensure completion of all transaction funding requirements and finalize funding
  • Complete final transaction economic analysis and transition to audit and booking

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years commercial finance/equipment finance experience, ideally at least five years.
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting and investment rational
  • Understanding of transaction pricing, structuring, and economics
  • Relationship management and negotiating experience
  • Must have a “Deal Doing” mindset
  • Must be able to multitask managing a robust deal pipeline of transactions across the fulfillment lifecycle
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment interacting with cross-functional departments including Sales, Credit, Finance, Documentation, and Accounting
